I have enjoyed collecting coins since I was a child. Now I am older and have a fascination for American Silver, both as currency, and as a valuable investment, it is great fun. I found out, by accident, that there were 2 types of American Eagle Silver Dollars. I enjoyed type one, but type two takes it to a new level. The expertise that went into the manufacture and minting of these coins is spectacular. They are quite a handful, and there is so much to see; the flowing lines of the hair on the front as Lady Liberty walks across the American landscape. Shiny, and lustrous! If you shine a flashlight on the coin, you will be seeing stars from the reflected light. America The Beautiful is exemplified by these American Eagles, silver, gold, platinum, palladium, they are ALL good!
I STARTED TO COLLECT THESE FOR MY GRANDSON (5 y/o). THE COINS ARE BEAUTIFUL. HE WILL HAVE A NICE START ON HIS EDUCATION. YOU HAVE TO GET BOTH 2021 TYPE 1 & 2, THEY JUST GO TOGETHER.
