To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle Silver Coins first produced in 1986, get this three-coin set of the American Eagle Silver Coin.
The proof version features a cameo image floating on a mirror-like background, the uncirculated version has a satin finish, and the first-time offered reverse proof version features a frosted background, and a brilliant mirror-like finish on the raised elements of the coin, including the design and various inscriptions.
The proof and the uncirculated coins carry the "W" mint mark, indicating their production at the United States Mint at West Point. The reverse proof coin carries the "P" mint mark, indicating its production at the United States Mint at Philadelphia.

The photos didn't do the coin justice it’s a very nice coin. The coin is as described. The condition and quality are what one would expected from a coin in Choice Uncirculated Brown condition, well worth the money. It's hard to beat the detail of a vintage uncirculated coin. Great Coin!
The 1883 which has been in my collection many decades is XF, and this BU coin from Mount Vernon replaces it. The XF coin is nice, but the BU one shines and is a great upgrade. I should have upgraded this coin years ago!
When silver dollars suddenly disappeared from circulation over 60 years ago, I had one in Fair condition, not worth putting in my collection. The BU coin from Mount Vernon is beautiful, and fills the hole for 1884 Philadelphia mint. The old one remains in my scrap silver pile.
